Darryl founded the firm in 2005. He offers clients a variety of services. The one that many clients and potential clients are interested in is income tax service. Services include tax compliance (income tax return preparation) and income tax planning for clients who need this. Additionally, he has a strong background in financial accounting from careers that span both public accounting and industry (Controller/CFO positions).
One unique aspect of Darryl’s career is that he is also a Certified Revenue Examiner. Many years ago he contracted to perform governmental auditing services. That knowledge is currently used to help clients avoid surprises from state or local auditors such as sales tax, consumers use tax, business license, and others.
Throughout his career, Darryl has served clients in a wide range of industries. This experience makes it easy to learn and adapt to new businesses not previously served. Additionally, he has a knack for serving startup companies.
Darryl is a 1986 graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, having majored in Accounting with honors. He holds certifications as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and Certified Revenue Examiner (CRE).
Darryl is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
